My aunt Mabel was an awesome lady. I didn't know her real well, but from everything I've been told, she was quite a lady. She married my grandfathers brother during WWII, and was a Navy wife for years- living from here to Italy. Why did she come to my mind tonight? Well, she had a little saying. "poo in a shoe".
Now, don't go running off screaming thinking that I came across poo in a shoe, but quite the opposite.. pee in a shoe.
The little monkey does not let me change her at the moment, as there are better things for her to do. Anyway, I change a nasty one and sometimes I let her air her little butt off. She also loves to walk around in my shoes. What happens? you guessed it. I hear a little whine and see a puddle surrounding her, with the deepest puddle being in my new crocs flipflops.
So, as I sit here typing, I'm also trying to look up how to clean/ disinfect my shoes. Any ideas, please let me know!

Spray them down with heavily dilluted bleach, wipes them down well and then spray again and let air dry.
Also, once they've air dried, there shouldn't be any smell, if there is, spray down with a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water and that will kill the smell and once dry, WILL NOT smell like vinegar.
LOL. Toooo funny Christina! Just wash em. Wash em in the dishwasher if it makes you feel better lol. But just wash em.
