115 and counting....

that would be my grand total so far of Lovenox shots. Not fun, but definitely worth it in the end (which, if I did my math right, I will have given myself over 400 shots by the end). I'm now 13 weeks along and finally feeling human again. The weather is changing, which makes my mood a bit better. Now, if I could only convince my little one that her crib is a nice place to sleep until the conversion kit comes in.
As for thingamajig here, I have no idea on what names my darling husband is thinking of. He keeps messing with me about Herbertina and Herbert. I do have some new pictures, of the little one, I just have to upload them onto the computer. Although, I can give you pictures of thingamajig.

Betcha didn't know....

Okay- I'm posting this as part of the Barking Mad giveaway contest.. I never win anything so I figure, what the hell. Right?

So, here are some "betcha didn't know" items about me

1) I'm pregnant again. some know, but some don't.

2) I am giving myself injections in my stomach 2 times per day.. hey, if that doesn't get some sympathy from Auds, then nothing will! I'm even posting a shot of my first bruise!

3) I have gone through more boxes of Ellios pizza and buffalo chicken fingers, than I care to admit

4) I haven't slept through the night in 3 weeks- so I could use some entertainment while I'm up during the wee hours of the morning.

5) I am addicted to gardening websites

6) I hate to admit it, I love "I Love Money 2".. it makes me laugh.

Okay- thats it for now. hope Auds reads, and considers my entry!

Guy! Guy! .... oh my.

Guy! Guy! is what the little one yells to us everytime she see's the remote. "Guy" stands for Family Guy. She always loved the theme song. I'd let her watch it, she'd do her dance, then I'd turn the channel- or she'd go back to playing and ignoring the TV. Here's an example:

Yes, I let her replay and dance to the song... I admit that. Now, she has decided that this is HER show. This is the show that she must watch over and over. This is the show that she will actually eat something when watching. This is the show that will keep her in one place for a few minutes, allowing mommy that little extra time to go to the loo on her own (which I don't remember last time I was alone in there while she was awake)..

So, whilst I don't agree with letting kids watch this show, this is the one she has chosen to have as her own. To the point she throws a tantrum if she can't watch it. Last thing I want is for her to go to nursery and say "smell my ass"... which for some reason makes her laugh. I am trying to cut her off of it, and I can't believe how HARD it is! She likes Chica from the "sunny side up" show, the birthday song, and the berenstein bears. I promise you that after those shows are done, she is calling out "guy! guy!" and when I say "no" it becomes the sad, pathetic, whiney "guuuuyyyy... guyyyyyyy", and when I say "no" again (or its not on now, or its broken, or we've run out), she arches her back and into an oscar worthy tantrum.

I'm in for trouble down the line, I think.

sick day

not for me, but for the little one. Turns out that she has a bad sinus infection. Whilst I hate taking the day off of work, I was able to get her to nap in her crib and get some stuff done. Its actually a snowy day here- but more of a pretty snow, than a pain in the ass snow. I almost wish it were tomorrow (that I'm off with her), since the innauguration falls right during the lunch hours of our school. Hopefully they'll put it on the big screen (not tv- the old fashioned movie screens from school) in the cafeteria, like they did for the Phillies parade.

So, I've had a few people ask how my health is. So far, so good. My PT/INR levels (blood levels) have finally stabilized and I get to go have my blood done in 1 1/2 weeks, this would be a few days before I get the doppler study on my leg to see if my clot is gone. Feb 2, is the big day- so keep your fingers crossed. I am not a big drinker at all, but I can't tell you how much I'd love a glass of wine! I'm sure I won't be able to handle the first sip!

2008 the year in pictures

I sit here, at 9:07pm and my little daughter is ASLEEP!!! Yes, I am able to post, while hopefully, clear headed and not groggy. Sleep is not something my daughter seems to need. She did not take after me on that end- and she doesn't eat that much, so there's another way she's like daddy- but I'll take that one!
Here are some pictures from January to December of this year. I wish they were as good as the ones that Audrey, Joanne, and Crunchy Sarah take!
